- Research
- I co-lead the ICU Data Science Lab with Drs. Churpek and Afshar. We develop models to predict outcomes in patients using electronic health record data and machine learning. We use structured, unstructured, and image data for our research and touch upon a number of clinical problems. My particular interest is developing explainable models for predicting outcomes in hospitalized children.
