Research

The Eliceiri lab develops new biomedical imaging and analysis methods to understand the roles of cells in disease. Our projects include developing measures that can characterize the progression of cancer, building instruments to collect richer data than traditional methods, using machine learning to classify biomedical images, and developing open-source software for use by the image analysis community around the world.
