Build the Future

The Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics will bring the home of data science in the School of Medicine and Public Health to central campus when we move to the new School of Computer, Data, and Information Science building in 2025. Our faculty and students will share the space with peers in Computer Sciences, Statistics, and the Information School, leading to opportunities for research that occurs on the edges of and spans disciplines.  Its central location, with close proximity to the Discovery Building, the Biotechnology Center, and the Engineering Campus, creates a hub of collaboration that will help make every idea better. We’re building the future of Wisconsin – and the future of every Badger – and with your help, there’s no limit to what we can accomplish together.

All funds you give to the BMI-East Building Project (CDIS Building for the Future Fund – 112540128) will support a transformative building project that integrates east-campus BMI operations with the UW School of Computer Data and Information Sciences.
