Kendziorski named Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics

Congratulations to Professor Christina Kendziorski for being named Fellow of the 2024 class of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS).

Designation as an IMS Fellow is a significant honor, and has been for nearly 90 years. In order to be named as a Fellow of the IMS, the individual must have demonstrated distinction in research in statistics or probability or have demonstrated leadership that has profoundly influenced the field.

Dr. Kendziorski received the award for her sustained, impactful contributions to statistics in genomics over more that 20 years; her outstanding record of mentoring women statisticians, and service to the profession.

Again, congratulations to Dr. Kendziorski on this well-deserved honor.
