Congratulations to BMI Associate Professor Lu Mao, who has been awarded a 5-year competitive renewal of his NIH grant “Novel Statistical Methods for Complex Time-to-Event Data in Cardiovascular Clinical Trials.”
The project aims to develop efficient and robust methods for the design and analysis of cardiovascular clinical trials with complex composite endpoints that combine patient mortality with hospitalization and other lesser events.
The new methods will help improve analyses of completed cardiovascular trials. In the long run, they will contribute to fuller and more meaningful use of patient in the clinical setting.
Again, congratulations to Lu and his team for this accomplishment!
